Welcome to my Instructional Technologies 501 website. During my Masters studies I taught several years of introductory level physical/biological anthropology and absolutely loved it. My philosophy of teaching is that no matter the subject there are real life lessons to be learned. For example, I always make my students give oral presentations, and I grade for spelling and grammar because when they get jobs they will be expected to be proficient at those things. I always tell my students to proofread, have someone else proofread, then proofread again. A résumé will be ignored if it contains typos! I plan to continue teaching at the college level once I complete my M.Ed at the University of Mary Washington.
